hello all
Well started the boat up for the first time since getting (salvage recovery). Replaced all fluids, plugs etc. Started up just fine, however I believe I have a cracked on the housing on the fuel pump. Water just squirted out a slit in the side of the unit. The engine is an 07 5.0 MPI mercruiser with a Bravo 3 drive. The engine was pickled when we got the boat, must of still had some water in it as there appears to be no drain on the housing. Question since low pressure to begin with, could the housing be repaired with a weld. Any one else have this happen. Would appreciate your thoughts and expertise.
