WTB Speedo assy for 1986 300 weekender

I am looking for a speedo assyemble for my 1986 300 weekender the previuos owner has it tie wraped thru the boat and if it comes loose boat may sink. not sure on life of tie wrap but I cannot locate this part any where new or used. Any help please

Color me confused, but how did you come to the conclusion that a boat will sink because of a bad speedometer?

Well my assy comes thru center of boat just behind motors V-Drive The assyemble is two peice so if straps come loose or brittle parts seperate and boat could sink after batts die shore pwr is junk etc.
