Looking to buy an end piece or scrap Marine Plywood or HDPE.

I Stepped on my in floor cooler lid and the screws pulled out of the 24 year old Marine Plywood. The 6-pack sized cooler box screws into a half inch thick piece of bilgekote painted marine ply which has two more layers of 1/2" marine ply screwed to it for support in a ring sandwiched between the top deck and cooler box. Smallest piece of HDPE I could fine online was 24"x48"x1/2" for $62 + shipping which is to much waste material for what I need.

Perfect piece would be 1/2-3/4" thick HDPE so I can route the edge down to the 1/2" to sit on the shelf and be flush with the floor. Since we don't use the cooler, I was thinking a deck hatch and just use that bilge area as extra storage.

Thanks SillyKnot. The currently installed piece is 16.25"x25 so 17"x26" would be perfect, as it will give me room to trace out any irregularities. Shipping Zip in NY is 13135 to get a price quote. If we can agree on a price can you take paypal for payment of the materials & shipping?

Still looking for a scrap piece of Marine ply or HDPE. If I can find someone, I plan on purchasing a deck hatch and just using the space as storage without a cooler. Potentially wet storage due to the drain from the cuddy well and drain going back to bilge but its such a huge space below the floor the insulated in-floor cooler just wastes it.

On the bright side, this isn't a high priority. I found that the cooler pulling out of the plywood was not such a big deal. Turns out the bilgekote is still thick, and the three layers of plywood are not rotted. problem was all the original screws were completely rotted. I removed all the rusted screws, filled the holes, laminated the three pieces together (they were just screwed not laminated) and put it all back together with appropriate length coated deck screws. so back in the boat it goes until I upgrade to a deck hatch, preferably in HDPE so I don't have to worry about future rot.
