would you buy this amberjack 290

Found an amberjack 290 that I love. Price is fair When I first saw [COLOR=#67B045 !important]boat[/COLOR], the [COLOR=#67B045 !important]cabin[/COLOR] stunk like bad water, mold and mildew. I discovered they [COLOR=#67B045 !important]the pump[/COLOR] for the shower they is in thecabin was broke and there was water sitting around it Owner said he didn't know about it as he didn't use boat. I walked away and they had the pump fixed. Water is gone butcabin still has a smell. Owner Mechanix says it will come out if I detail the cabin and steam clean carpets and cushions.

The boat is far from a steel, but is a very good price Would you put a deposit down with contingency that owner has it cleaned and I can void deal if not satisfied? Or would you walk away regardless.

If it less then 8 grand you can roll the dice and hope for the best but if its more then that pay for a survive so you know what your getting into. Depending on how long this has been a problem there could more damage.You will find that here on the forum that a survive is usually the first step after you find some thing you like.
