It was pretty fun a few years ago. I have video from the early 90's of the last Sun God party. That was amazing. Lately it had become a train wreck of sorts with the same people every weekend. I have always enjoyed rafting in and around the island as a good meeting place for friends and strangers alike.

The issue now, and what this possible reality show would do, is bring in an even higher level of Douche Bag. There are already too many steroid pumping, over tanned, under brain celled, bandana wearing guys trying their very best to get any girl to play beer pong or take a pull off of their beer bong. It is also getting younger and younger. Last 4th of July I helped a 16 year old who was unconcious after clocking her head in a fall and her friends were clue less to help her. The Sheriff was called and we loaded her onto their boat.
I know I sound like a 35 year old going on 75, but its too bad that area has turned into such a train wreck on many weekends.

That about sums it up perfect! I think half of them keep their boats at my marina.
 
I feel for ya. Another reason I am thankful that my parents still have their house on the lake. A free dock (sort of) and no lousy neighbors.
I find myself spending more time on the hook in Carsons Bay and the other end of the lake then I do at BI.
Lets hope the weekend forecast is wrong and we can get some sunshine on Saturday and Sunday.

That's funny -- Carsons is our usual hangout. Nice and quiet because of the no-wake zone. I'll look for you this summer.
 
The gal and I were in Carsons last Sunday- even got a sunburn to prove it! :thumbsup:
