WM AIS Transceiver

Hi all.....purchased and installed the new West Marine AIS transceiver last month....Pretty straight forward....however the interface between the chartplotter and the AIS unit needed some tweaking.....wiring instructions were a bit confusing...couple of toll free calls and all is well....
Nice feature is silencing your transmitter, while still using the receiver....cuts down on clutter sent out during the day for the larger vessels to deal with.
I do a lot of night time cruising and the new unit is a great asset

Standard Horizon 1200C, which I also have talking to the SH GX3500 X radio for DSC....decent package now that they are all playing nicely together....
