looking at an 07 260 sundeck that i really like except it has the wakeboard tower which i really don't, how hard would it be to remove it if i decide to purchase. Would i be compromising structural integrity? any other complications i would need to be aware of?

You would not be compromising structural integrity in any way. The issue would be with the holes from the mounting screws. Others with experience in this area can chime in with your options on dealing with the holes.

I agree, it would not cause problems structural but fixing the holes would be alot of work, especially if you want it to look like they were never there. You might just be able to remove it and leave the mounting plates.

I removed the tower on my Sport 185. Because the holes were not too large, I found white plastic press-in plugs for the sides that are on the white surface, and I put chrome press-in caps on the top surfaces. Home Depot. Works fine. I will see if I can find a photo now that the boat is shrink-wrapped for winter.
