So after a long winter of looking for a new helm chair I found a nice Todd ladder back seat that will work with my 88WE. I found it at a good price at GoTo Marine and placed the order back at the first week in June. Two weeks later I get a shipping notification from GoTo but no tracking number, so I make a call. Todd tells them they are having issues finding the parts for the seat but it would ship that week. The week comes and goes still no seat. Again GoTo makes the call, this time we asked if they would just ship the base, they say sure and will ship it that day. Another week goes by, still no seat or base. The staff at GoTo was getting pissed due to all the BS Todd was laying down and their owner called the GM at Todd.

turns out that the shipping crew at Todd was doing inventory for the past two weeks and had shut down all shipping! GoTo is trying to take all the heat for Todds shipping staffs mistake. The way I see it, Todd has some explaining to do.

Not really. Many companies need to stop all activity of material movement to count things. Not saying it is the best business decision.

I would understand one or two days, maybe even three. But a full two weeks? And why then stall and give excuses and down right lie?

If done sectionally, after hours, there is no need to stop business. There are companies that inventory for a living. They have been around for at least 40 years that I can recall.

I agree. Shutting down for inventory is nothing short of archaic. Convenience stores (that have thousands of items) that are open 24/7/365 do it on the fly & don't skip a beat. Sorry, but I believe you've been buII****ted.
