Wiring diagram needed

Where can I get a wiring diagram for my Sundancer 250? It is a 1987 model.
 
Are you sure the year and model is correct, I am on there web site where you can get all their manuals and they don't list that model and year? They do list the 250 in later years. Check out searay.com

According to the boat title, it is. That is the issue that I have been having on finding the wiring diagram.
 
just bought an 87 Sundancer 250 myself 2 weeks ago. have been crawling through tracing wiring too. we'll have to compare notes on what we find. Mark
 
I didn’t realize it until after the fact but, previous owner(s) cut a lot of wires out. The shore to ship wires have been removed etc. I am looking to replace the wiring but have nothing to go by.

Have you compared what you are finding in yours to other models of that year? There was no 245 in the model year of my boat either. It does have the original manual that came with it though, but it is for a 270. There is reference to a 245 in that manual but nothing with Sea Ray when I originally contacted them about it. It was sold as a 245 hard top and there is a command bridge harness run into it's headliner tagged 270.

That info on your boat is pretty cool. Am I mistaken/delusional, or do remember pics of you anchored and crabbing with 2-4 inches of snow of your bow?

No, you're not mistaken. We run as much as our schedules allow. Installed a diesel heater last fall to make the winter months more comfortable.

Hi Guys new to the forum I am interested in the comment on the Diesel heater how well does it work and do you have any info ?

I fish late fall in my 268 heat is a must.

The heater has worked like a champ. Keeps the cabin dry and cozy. These are a Chinese knock off of the Webasto and Espar heaters.

The muffler that comes in the kit is garbage and would not use it for CO concerns. I ran the exhaust straight out the side with one of these.
316L 24mm Thru Hull/Exhaust Skin Fitting with Back Plate Marine Stainless Steel Stainless Steel for Webasto, Planar, Eberspacher, Chinese Diesel Parking heaters var4, Boating - Amazon Canada
I also have great access in the gunnels of my boat. I picked up a couple of these duct kits and ran vents to the bow, dash and main cabin.

Pretty happy with it. It ran for 3 days last weekend. Heading out on the boat again for 5-6 days this weekend. Will more than likely see a few more frosty nights on this one as well.
