Not sure where I an get the wiper unit? and if there is an upgrade unit that will fit? It always seamed a pretty weak unit. Sometime I had to push the blade to get it going.
I have a 98DA The Wiper motor its marked: WWF-12C1-520 12v 05/29/02 Thanks. John G

Try AM Equipment, amequipment.com. They will have an updated motor assembly for your old model number. I got a 212-2202. It has a stronger motor and gearbox, slightly different mounting plate but they have adapters.

It has a formed cover over the Wiper motor. It is Located in the Bathroom. Will it still fit? Thanks John G

Got this reply, sounds good:

You are correct. The 212-2202 is also a 100 degree wiper. It has 20% more torque than the WWF motors. It is a different shape and would require a different cover. The cover is 334-1009 and the cost is $11.87. The wiper motor is $111.83 and your original arm and blade will go right on. You might take a look at these on our web site, www.amequipment.com, wiper applications, marine.

RonF: Hey I am trying to buy from"Amequipment" but could not find a Retail website to do it. They gave me e-mail me prices but they appear to be the manufacture and don't sell over the net? I have more questions such as since the motor is 20% stronger can I upgrade the wipers from 16in to 18in ect. Where did you buy you motors from?
Thanks again

Finally got through. Ordered everything. New stronger motor, New cover, New larger wiper (was 16 in. now 18 inch) plus new blade for 159 plus shipping.
what the hell, every thing is 8 to 12 years anyway. JG

Good work, John. I had originally bought the motor from MM because it was the only replacement that they had. I then contacted AM Equipment by phone for installation advice. For example, there is an extra wire for the parking circuit, but I would not be using that. They told me about an adapter plate, and sold it directly to me on a credit card. (Might be what they are calling a cover?) They were very helpful. Now that it's fresh in my mind, I'll probably get the longer wiper arm, too.

Now I know why we don't order things over the phone anymore.
The History so far...
I Put The order 3 weeks ago at:
With AM Equipment, amequipment.com. They only take phone orders.

1 week goes by, Nothing so I call. They see the order but for some reason it never went out.

End of the 2nd week I get a box, opened the box 1 part missing, Wiper motor cover is Black not the white I thought I ordered. So I Called back, The one part is on back order and I was Told I must of ordered the standard "Black" Color, and since I did not pick the part on-line like i typically do, Who knows?

so now where into the 3rd week and the part should be in at the end of the week ( friday) and I guess I will get some Spray paint and Pant the parts. Ugh...
