Winterizing Pink Liquid Questions

With the heads I had blown the water out with compressor and when I added pink I flushed until I got pink for 10 seconds or so then poured 1/2 gallon of pink into the bowl flushed and let the flush system suction pressure up and put the other half gallon in and flushed again.
All scary to me as this is new process. Items that do not break this winter I will know I did that correctly.

To winterize my head, I simply pump out the waste from the holding tank, pour about a gallon in the commode, and pump it through the lines in to the holding tank.

What about the supply line to the head? That was my question.
