winterizing fuel and cooling systems at same time?

Do you think I can run my engine with fogging cocktail in the fuel filter while feeding the muffs pink antifreeze? I suspect it will suck up 5 gallons of antifreeze long before the fuel system/ engine is properly coated with fogging oil.
In that case I am thinking I should run the fuel mix for a few minutes, then drain water from engine before connecting muffs to my pink stuff.
I will remove the thermostat.
I have mercury pink corrosion inhibitor anti freeze.
How are both systems usually done?

No, the best way is to run the cocktail mix connected to the fuel sep until you see some smoke.
Shut it down, drain everything first. remove the large hose from the therm housing side and pour the AF in until it comes out the therm housing. reattach hose.
remove the hoses from the therm housing that go to the bottom of the manifolds. pour the AF in until it comes out the exaust.

If you run the mix in your fuel filter for a few minutes on the muffs, then refill it a second time and do antifreeze through the muffs, you would be fine. Assuming you pull the thermostat while doing this of course. Will take about 4 gallons of AF.

That's how I did it today. I thought I might try to run some through the muffs after but I didn't have enough left to bother and when I saw some was coming out the water intake I felt better about it being everywhere it should be.
