Hey Folks,
I haven't been on the forum since the flotilla was completed last August, how the time flies! I trust all are well! I have had a few texts/calls come my way recently regarding our annual winter get together in Port Jefferson. So I am posting this to gauge the interest of the usual suspects as well as any other members who haven't had the opportunity to join us in the past. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what we do let me break it down. I own a restaurant in Port Jefferson with my brother. A couple of years ago I thought it would be cool to get together in the dog days of winter for some food, spirits and boat talk! I put out a complimentary buffet with a cash bar. People have travelled from CT, NJ & the Hudson valley at past gatherings. Those people that are not local usually get a room in Danfords for the night as it is a short walk to all the bars/restaurants in the village. Here are the links to the last three parties:

So guys, Let me know who is interested so we can get the list of attendees started. I am doing it a little different this year as I have done a little intel gathering with some of the folks who have attended every year. It appears that we are limited to February 7th, 2015 primarily to accommodate one of the original players and life of the party members (Although there are some parts of the sidewalk in Port Jeff and a few pairs of shoes that may disagree:smt043). Please let me know if this date works for the masses. If not then we will need to come up with another one. Thanks!
