Winter is almost here.

I was cutting the grass around 5:00 last night and it felt like it was 105 degrees. Yep, winter is right around the corner for us. Although the water temperature is still hovering around 88 degrees so maybe old man winter will stay away for a while. :huh:

Moved my trailer bunks forward about a foot today during the hottest part of the day. Must have been every bit of 100 degrees! Thought I was going to die of heat stroke!

Ha Ha, the water temp was higher than Joisey's air temp today!! We're figuring out which weekend we'll come down to Tierra Verde next year and this time we'll definitely give you a Holler!!

I know what Wayne means,,,, well sorta, have to be careful here. In Western NY, typically September is fine, but the days following get shorter, the weather gets ify, and if you want to get to get your vessel cleaned up and winterized while its decent out you better do it early. Thats all I am saying.... and by the way it was 45 this morning.

We were swimming in our lake on Thursday and the water temperature was 86 degrees. What is this "winter" thing you speak of?

:huh::huh::huh::huh:

I better put my isenglass back up and turn on the heaters!
