I stacked 2&1/2 cords of split wood for my Mom last weekend in the 90 degree heat and humidity. Hopefully we get some temperate fall days instead of early winter.

And that she did. I work my a$$ off so I can play my a$$ off. All I have done so far this year is Hawaii in April and weekend trips. Last weekend happened to be 5 days but I only took one day of vacation. October will be my 2nd week of vacation and trust me, I will have work I have to do during the trip. The good thing is that I know your just busting my chops, otherwise I'd have to come back out there and teach you a lesson!

Pouring rain and lightning last night. It's been otherwise a fabulous summer. Tomorrow is suppose to be partly sunny and low 70s, Sunday will be upper 70s and the remaining part of the week back into the 80s. I plan to go boating at least once a month for an overnighter and at least a day trip more often.

I may head out fishing for salmon tomorrow.
