Every year in November our local dealer (Trudeau's) holds an evening open house for past customers (new customers too, of course). Food, wine/beer, and door prizes are provided. Last year live music. Do your dealers offer similar events?

Every year our dealer has a "Customer Appreciation Day". This year was their 30th annual event which they held in October The themes are different each years but they always make it fun. This year we had a "scavenger hunt" on the lake that took about 3 hours to complete on your boat. At the end of that time, they feed us and give prizes away to the participants. Top prizes are pretty good (how does one year of free dry stack storage sound?) :smt038

Our dealer is tops as far as I am concerned. They really know how to treat their customers and it's that way year round. Their annual event is just more icing on the cake.

Different companies do different things. Tiara invites its customers to dinner. Those of us in Michigan have a nice dinner at the factory, watch a promotional video, listen to engine and model long range plans and then go on all the boats in the production line and learn how they are put together. It's pretty interesting to see boats being laid up, popped out of the molds, built, cleaned and then shrink wrapped for shipping. The evening is very informal and the family allows you to look at just about anything within reason. This is a small company that builds about 400 boats a year so it dosn't have to worry too much about what "corporate" might think about letting people wander around the factory. It's a great evening event and we usually invite a couple of friends to go with us.

Just looking for your insite. We live in arizona just across the colorado river from laughlin, nevada. We have dealt with marinemax las vegas, (its our main store) phoenix and grand junction. When I look at the florida area marinemax calenders online, it seems they always have something going on all the time, but out here in the west nothing from october till may. Anyone know why that is. Are the west coast marinemax group just not up to speed. Yes boating can be great through the winters here. It was 80+ last week still. Just curious. Thanks :smt017

The local MM just had a great poker run and low county boil on Lake Lanier. They are putting together a Christmas boat parade of lights and then a bus tour though the light show at the islands.
