Those of you that followed our New England blog remember we bought this nice dog toy in Nantucket:

It was a nice duck... seemed to get along with the dogs ok (as you can see) but something happened. The dogs, which are generally nice animals, have been yanking the thing around, playing tug-of-war, and just abusing the crap out of it.

Today, I found it on the floor and I hate to say it but...

It's wingless:

It doesn't look happy anymore:

The dogs just pick on the thing and I think it may go in the garbage with the all the other stinky stuff.

Any of you other dog owners seen this type of behavior? Is this boat withdrawal kicking in?

OMG I've got to take a pic of "Chippy" it was a nice toy for the dog,"gracie" our new Jack russel snouser......but she rips the guts out of every toy we buy her,,, now chippy is lifeless on he floor, looking like a wet rag.....and she still loves it..

Trollin', trollin', trollin', keep that brain cell rollin'...

The images don't comport w/ the story, though.

There are way too many saliva stains on the stuffed toy to be caused by an intelligent and attractive mammal, so my recommendation is to desist trying to blame that damage on the dog and use the mirror to locate the wing muncher prior to the mirror shattering.

An antagonist might classify this as a Apteryx.

I about spit my milk through my nose when I saw this. Thanks for the laugh.

Very funny. I bought my Sheltie puppy "Black Jack" several sqeeky toys at Pets Mart and he has performed heart surgery on all of them...carefully removing the squeeker from each wth minimal damage to the rest of the toy. He then leaves the poor toy laying face up with the sqeeker laying next to it!!

"Flaming" are one of the personal attacks prohibited in the CSR Forum Rules, authored by First Born.
Were you picked on as a kid in school? I was too. Some get over it. Others don't. Some learn to bask in the shadow of their own causing, others don't.

Long story short. If I do something stupid...I pay for it.
I'll be generous because It's my nature believe it or not. You have had a reputation Before I joined up. Somehow that happened, I don't know why, but, I'm sure as my life has proven, for a reason. This has happened to me in the past. The cure...change ways. Sorry man, just being honest.
FYI. The driveshaft thing had me fall off the chair laughing!
