Windless

It is not. If it is, that would be odd. But, look in the anchor locker for large gauge, unused wires.

There's actually a decent number of threads on here about this subject - and about installing a windlass. Try using the search feature - you might be surprised at what you find!

Welcome aboard!

Hello,
:smt100
Could anyone help me in locating an anchor roller for a 2004 260DA?
I just purchased a Maxwell windlass and want to begin to plan my installation now that the snow is gone.

I have looked high and low and the dealer option is just way to high priced and the aftermarket ones don't seem to look right.

The factory ones are angled to the bow, but the best aftermarket ones have a hinge near the front.

Can't wait till launch!:smt038

Hey Dennis, I actually found 2 wires for the Windlass in the anchor locker. I haven't pursued a windlass so the investigation stopped. I checked the schematic and that's what they are for. Go figure.

Very interesting, Gary! I'm sure you can't be the only one, but that is certainly the first one I've heard of (or seen) in a long, long time. Many years ago, it was actually quite common to see them pre-wired. But as costs started to rise, that was one of the places that SR was able to save some money. Good to know... thanks Gary!

- I'll look again. Are they in plain sight once you stuck your head into the locker?

Didn't see any on my first look though........darn
