I know I've seen posts regarding the Good Automatic Windlass. Mater of fact, that's a large part of the reason we purchased one. So please accept my apologies, but nothing came up for "Good Windlass" nor a half dozen other searches I tried.
Now for the install. The windlass seems pretty straight forward, it's the wiring that's got us "tangled up" (small pun). We need to pull heavy gauge (6) from the batteries to the bow/windlass. We've got the selves down in the berth, but the old wires, which are much lighter, disappear into the galley and head (starboard) and I don't see where they come out in the engine compartment. Has anyone out there pulled new wire for a windlass on a 340? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Willey, if you're out there, you know you're my hero! I still have your diagram for the cabin door removal, but haven't tackled the job yet.
