windlass finger kit

i have a 2005 390 sundancer. the finger that keeps the anchor rope tight to the windlass was missing when i bought the boat. i ordered a free replacement finger kit from imtra. i cant figure out how you put the finger kit together on the project
1000 windlass. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to Imtra.com and download the parts drawing. Go to the anchoring/Lofrans section. Once you see the drawing it should be real easy. I have had the same windlass on 3 boats and I have always taken the windlass apart myself to service them and I remember the finger is real easy to get back into place.

If yours is a 1000 series like mine, it takes an allen wrench and 2 minutes to put the new finger in. Mine originally had a plastic finger, which broke in half, and I got a stainless replacement under warranty.
