Wilmington NC July 4th

We will be heading around snows cut and back up to Wilmington for the 4th if anyone is interested in rafting up on the river for the fireworks.

Will be staying at Bennett Bro's for the weekend afterwards and doing some cape fear river runs.

So I am only a year late answering you. Actually, I just found this website and did a search on Wilmington, NC looking for other SeaRay Owners. We are docked at Scotts Hill Marina and interested in meeting others in the area. Perhaps a raft-up one weekend somewhere along the New Hanover county coastal area - Rich's Inlet, Wrightsville, Masonboro, etc.

Welcome to the board! We are docked just south of you at Masons Yacht Club and when we head for the beach pretty much hang behind figure 8 right off the sandbagged house. We'll try to keep an eye out for you and introduce ourselves the next time we see you over there.

If your interested, we are planning on making our annual trip around to Wilmington on the 4th. With it being on a Friday this year I'm not sure if we're making the trip around on the weekend prior or the day of the 4th. We usually stay at Bennett brothers that weekend and make run up the the day of the 4th, coming back down in time for the fireworks.

Did you happen to be the other Sundancer behind Figure 8 on Memorial Day around 5pm? I am jamb's son. I help him run the boat and we successfully navigated to Figure 8 that day for the first time in our new-to-us Sundancer with some tips from the marina owner. We also saw a couple of Sea Rays rafting there the day before.

Not us... there are 2 weekends you will never find us on the water.... Memorial Day and Labor day... too many crazy people... those are our designated boat maintenance days....

Memorial day we were in the slip putting in a new battery charger, and repairing the pocket door

Jlamb, welcome. There are two CSR members North of you in Harbour Village in Hampstead. I am one of them, and hope to see you on the water. We head to Topsail for fireworks on the 3rd.
