despite having a large rear view camera system and a back-up warning system that shakes the driver's seat violently the Admiral was able to back our Cadillac SRX into the front of my poor truck in our driveway last Friday....there is not even a mark on the rear bumper of the Caddy.....

I was wondering if anyone thinks this will just 'buff out'.....:(.....

Ouch! Well it's not going to buff out. If it is any consolation I once backed my Lexus into my 1982 Chevy pickup, the truck came out on top of that one. Then someone rear ended me about 2mos later, so the Lexus got fixed on their dime. So maybe get the truck hit by someone else? I could help you setup one of those accident scams. Or just smash the truck into your wife's Porsche and see how she likes that! You have several options here. :)

Crap happens.....Move on.

But leave the Porsche out of it.... bodies would need to be buried if someone tagged my 911.

yeah, I have ordered the parts to fix it....around $300 and probably a couple hours work....in my younger days my hot temper would have gotten me in trouble over stuff like this....as I get older things just don't set me off much anymore....its better to just roll with the punches life throws at you....

Oh my...My admiral did the same to my new truck. She has a back up camera, but yelled at me for parking behind her!

It does just buff out unfortunately.

You are a smart man Cliff - my daughters new Volvo S60 got hit in the parking lot at her work - of course no note no security camera, just hit and gone. Minor damage, I decided to let it go and not get worked up over it.

I have learned when it comes to wives and daughters, you just can't worry about a bump on the car here and there - you NEVER come out on top of that one. Years ago my wife side swiped the garage door with her minivan - I made a bit too much of a deal over it and really caught hell for it. A month later I ripped the mirror off my car backing out of the garage - karma I guess.

Mine has hit both garage doors at least once. One garage wall, and her brothers car which was parked behind her car. I've replaced our garage doors three times now.

Sounds like you got permission to add some bling to your boat, no questions asked.
