Thanks, everyone for all your help so far!
One more question to all 270 DA SE owners, 1999
Why is the dining table in the cabin so LOW?
I'm not sure if I'm missing somthing or WHAT??
When I put the pole (it looks like the factory pole, looks UNCUT and is tappered on both ends to fit th table and the floor) into the floor hole to the base of the factory table to make the cabin table it is only about 7" or less above the seat, it's sits right on my legs, is this correct or are we missing somthing???
Or were peoples legs back in 1999 only 3-4" thick??:smt001

Look around all the storage compartments for other stands. Sea Ray provided multiple stands or poles for different uses. I don't have a 270DA, but I have 4 different lengths for my boat.

Most likely, you have the stand in place now that is designed for use with filler cushions when your salon couch is made into a berth. There should be a longer one for use with a table, and still others for use in the aft compartment.

NOPE,
Just the one, and it's a real odd size:
Just a hair over 2.125" outside w/ the taper
and the inside is just under 2" so if you wanted to cut the org. pole and insert some sort of sleave to make it longer it's hard to find somthing.

The pole is a standard marine fitting. If it is fluted, I think those are Garelick, but may be Todd. Shouldn't be hard to find one the proper length.

I would also check at a RV store for a longer one. :smt001

Does any one have a 1999 270 DA SE? And if so how long should the support be for the dinning table??
