Why 2 TracVision?

Saw a boat the other day.
It had 2 TracVisions on top.

I don't even have one.
But what is the reason to have 2?
Isn't it just the Sat TV?

One is usually a "dummy" dome for a balanced look on a hardtop or arch. The dummy is just an empty unit. Now if it was was a 100' + yacht, it could be necessary to feed all the tvs.

Probably one is for TV and the other is phone. That's becoming more popular.

As Jeff said the second is a dummy. For people who want broadband internet and phone the second can be used for that purpose which requires a separate dish.

Sat phone and or Internet are generally contained in a smaller dome than the tv dome. These scenarios usually result in the smaller phone/internet dome being placed centerline and the live tv and dumb tv flanked port and starboard.
