Wholly Crap!

Well there you have it. Your 32 foot American made Tiara is much better than our 19' Mexican assembled SeaRay. Time to move on to another "one upper" thread I suppose.

you said it far more eloquently than I was going to - thanks

Guess that explains the numerous minor QC issues I have with my 21.

Nope, made in China. Spanish is easier to translate
Noooo, you need to buy one of the USA reverse engineered ones.

The original transistors were actually invented in Lusiana. So the chinaknockoffs talk in phrases such as "I'm fixing to" and "Cuzin Bubba telled me".

No translatin' needed.

OK all kidding aside...

We owned our last Pride N' Joy for 35 years, bought brand spanking new. She was equipped with a 3.0 Liter Mercruiser I/O. 1350 engine hours and till going strong when we sold her last fall.

A few years ago I had to replace the bilge pump, so I had to crawl down real low. Stamped on the bottom of the block (in English) was the phrase "Made in Mexico". (pi$$ed me off for sure)

Maybe Mercruiser and SeaRay are in control of the plants so its not a real problem.

Anywhoot, a friend has a new Cobalt, and he has QC problems too. So, its not necessarily what you pay for, sometimes its the luck of the draw.
