This is probably my latest favorite TV show. Entertaining and the 3 hosts are hysterical.

Absolutely hysterical! Who comes up with the stuff they do? Turning a car/van /truck into a boat. Racing across America in muscle cars. Racing across Africa in everyday beater cars. Very cool mega power, mega priced rides too.

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
I’ve been watching it for more than 10 years! The latest version with Jezza, Hamster and Captain Slow is the best one, for sure!

Every car nuts in the world watch them...and they probably have the best job on hearth!!

Me too, I have turned all my friends that are gear heads on to the show too!... the funny thing is that all our wives watch too.... that is most unusual.
Some say.... the discovery Channel has a new "American" version in their line up.... I have not seen it but I will guess it will be less than a hit...

The "american" version of top gear started on History channel this month. Cool car but it's really far from measuring up to the real show on bbc.
Anyway it's available OnDemand history channel

I DVR'd the American version -- haven't watched it yet. Yeah, it wont be as good as the original UK version. I do like Tanner Faust, though. He's in "Battle of the Supercars" on Speed. I really enjoy that show, too.

I first saw Top Gear a few years ago, but never really consistently started watching it. Now, BBC shows Top Gear reruns A LOT. I've got my DirecTV DVR set to record all episodes of Top Gear, and I've got about 15 on there. I watch 1 or 2 every night and I can't get enough!! Really enjoyable and cracks me up --- my wife hears me laugh out loud from the mancave.

OK here's the deal.

We're going to have 3 British guys drive outrages cars at ungodly speeds. Then we'll create races, with various challenges where they will buy beater cars and smash them into each other doing absolutely bizarre stunts.

After that we'll have famous people types drive on our road coarse and see how fast they can go in a grocery getter. All the while under the watchful eye of our championship professional racer called the STIG.

They’ll race everything from mopeds to mig jets.

Are you in? :wow::wow::wow::wow:

BTW. Did anyone catch the farm tractor competition? I shot coffee out my nose watching that one. :thumbsup:

Love it....
Can't wreck stuff like that here....
Crash, speed, bump, blow up.....
ALL GOOD

I love them because they test cars on a race track with every kind of turn and bends. That’s what I would do also!
Watch out what a Caterham R500 can do with only 260 HP...that’s on my wish list after testing one! :thumbsup:

And this is one of the latest funniest video. Racing with airport equipment vehicles :grin::grin::grin:

It is a great show.
The best British show yet.
Haven't seen the us version yet.....cant be as good.

So I did watch the Merican version today..... it was an EXACT copy of the British show.... engine block coffee table.... taped in a airplane hanger.... three goof balls... the Stig.... Great cinematography... celeb guest thrashing a econo car on a test track, it was weird to see it as a American version. if I wasn't such a fan of the Brit version and had never seen it before I would call it a hit.............
I was impressed with the cars... less impressed with the Actors

The BBC version blows the American version out of the water. I have been watching the BBC version for 5+ years now. Best show on TV. I can see why it is billed as the most popular TV show on the Planet (really). The American version production value was not nearly as good. The Stig did not seem to have much attitude. The three guys who are hosting are not funny at all. Whats worse is they are trying to duplicate the mannerisms of their BBC hosts!

IF I had never seen the BBC version, I could have liked the show. Since I have been a rabid fan of the BBC version though for years, it is painful to watch the very poor copy that the History Channel now has out. I will stick with the BBC. Even though they do bash Americans quite often. (too funny)

I just saw a re-run episode -- the 3 of them ride motorbikes 1000 miles thru Vietnam. Jeremy was riding a Vespa at night, in the rain, on the highway, with a flashlight taped to the fender. Captain Slow is riding along singing the Beach Boys song "Little Honda". Richard gets his helmet flattened by the other 2, after a night of drinking "snake vodka". I laughed for 60 minutes straight.
