hey guys this is my first post out of the whos who and were getting ready to go check out this boat that were trading our camaro for. my question to you guys is after were done lookin this thing over on the trailer, who provides the fuel for the sea trial? is the the buyers or sellers responsibility? i just dont wanna go look at this thing and ask him to put it in the water so we can take it out ASSUMING that hes responsible for the fuel and anything else thats needed to take it out on the water. so if i need to kick in some money so we can take it out on the water let me know if i should or shouldnt offer him anything to take it out.
thanks jason

The way that it would normally work is that you would firstly make a written offer accompanied by a refundable deposit to show that you are serious. There may be several conditions, including a surevey, written into the offer and one of them would be a sea trial. The sea trial costs around here are borne by the seller.

thanks for all the quick replys guys i didnt want to offend anyone so i figured id ask here first, ask and you shall recieve lol. im having my 2 uncles come over to survey the boat, one was in the coast guard for 10 years and the other is/has been a boat mechanic for the past 20 years, so they're gonna give us a good hand in lookin over this boat.

and dave thanks for the kind comment about the camaro haha, i am gonna miss her but i really think we'll have more/better use out on the boat..... man i miss the water lol
