100 can.

I cdnuolt blveiee that I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd

aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr
in what oerdr the ltteres in a word are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is

I can read it too but then again I have a warped mind.

When I'm drunk I type like that.

. I'll read it later so I know what was said. :smt043

I could read that with no problem at all!
UGH! That may not be a good sign.
Don't put stuff like that up on the board!! :smt001

Chuck, not only could I read it, but I wouldn't have known it was not spelled correctly, had you not pointed it out. I didn't worry about spelling when i was in school, 35 yrs ago, and I dang sure don't now. I get a kick out of these "school teachers" with their "RED" pen on CSR. Heck I couldn't even type my name on a key board 5yrs ago. thanks to boating and my "sweet little wifey" I think I do pretty good for an old rough neck. :smt038

I don't believe the 55 out of 100 claim. I've seen several of these before and have yet to come across anyone that couldn't read it...

Even if the words don't have the correct letters, we can still read it!

Good one, Jim G!

Only the first and last letters nedd to be correct for most people to read these. Change these and you will be lost.

In my example, the first and last letters are changed to numbers in some cases and you can still read it.

The numbers are close in appearance to the letters that they represent. ie: e is 3, s is 5 and t is 7.

I think it would be a lot harder to understand if the numbers used did not have some similarity to the letters they represented.

Easy peasy, and I thought this was going to be a tough quiz....

I can read it, but that is saying much for my burned out brain....BTW....if all our brain read is the first and last letter, why are we wasting time with all the other letters?
