I am on Lake Chickamauga on the TN river mm 490.5. Looking for some people to take a trip to Knoxville with the Vol Navy. Who has done this before and anyone up for a trip this year? Go VOLS!! :smt038

Some day, when I get a bigger boat. Its almost a bucket list type of thing.

I believe reservations are needed if you want to dock on he stadium side of the river. It may even be best to call ahead no matter where you plan to stay. You probably already know this but just thought I'd chime in.

BTW, Roll Tide!

You should make the trip. Your boat is the same size mine is.

Let me think about that for a minute.........Ahhh, No way. That would be about 10 hours one way.

Some friends of ours go to Chattanooga (6 hours) occasionally, I tell them al the time; "I love my boat & I love my wife. But 6 hours (at speed) up & 6 hours back, on a 25' boat. No thanks.

Loneranger, do you plan on going to any games this year? I am thinking about going up for the Florida game. Thoughts?

I have not been on the site for several months.

Yes I will be there. We have season tickets and will be there for all the home games unless something unpredictable happens. I usually leave my boat by the stadium for the whole season. Let me know if you come up as you could certainly tie up next to us. I am usually one of the smaller boats that stays for longer than just game day.

Btw I make a yearly trip to Chattanooga from Knoxville and it is one of our favorite trips. Chattanooga is nicely laid out for someone to have a good time from the water. Knoxville is not so good at that unless you like football.
