who here is NOT bothered by this?

Here's why your argument has no validity. It is not by choice, but by design. It is instinctual. That's why it is the norm, NOT because in your mind a higher percentage do it this way. When behavior is against the norm it is deviant. By definition, not opinion. Those who practice sexual behavior out side of the norm, heterosexual, are by definition, sexual deviants.

It certainly has validity to the people I know, and to the people who are homosexuals.

It isnt instinctual to have sex with a partner of the same sex? We factually stated earlier that it (homosexuality) is in the animal kingdom along with masturbating. To a homosexual, it is instinctive, not by choice. Regardless of what you may think, Jimmy doesnt one day say "hey, id really love to give John a bj"

Do you believe homosexuality is a learned trait or is genetic?

The norm is what we state is the norm based on a numerical value.

OK... I want to know who finds this guys butt tasty:

I'd hit it.

Sounds like you didn't do any research of your own. Just opinion. Or maybe you're Rick Astley...

p.s Wikipedia is for idiots and the illiterate.

Of course it does. You keep proving my point. Besides, what else could the homosexuals say? "We're freaks of nature"? (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Poll from another board I am on.

Just to give you some background, this discussion board runs the gammut from every day Joe's to PHD's, and is pretty even with political affiliation.

There are 12 posts so far, and each is as flabbergasted or more so than I am at the responses on CSR.

Seems so far CSR is a bit behind the times:

I think in the animal kingdom if a gay lion tried to hump a straight lion, the straight lions would eat the gay lion for dinner. I have no proof of that though... just a hunch.

Well... if it is wired different, then see my previous lion story.

I see some of this crap in the local school here. They make teachers go to classes about how some races are different than others and should be allowed to be disruptive and walk around and yell and interrupt because that's the way their culture is... I find that type of crap an excuse...

I worked at a company and had an employee (a male) want a sex change operation because he was "a woman trapped in a man's body." The deal was he wanted the health insurance to pay for it... So they chopped his wiener off... but before they did he was on hormones (or something) and it caused a big issue because he wanted to use the women's restroom and no woman was too thrilled with that. He ended up using the restroom across the street where his wife worked.

Flash forward a few years and the guy (or gal?) discovers he made a mistake... and he wants the insurance company to pay to put him back. Little did he realize, the doctor did NOT keep his pecker in a jar for use at a later time. Additionally, the insurance company would not pay to put him back (I guess they had a one-way trip policy). So he was going to sue the company to put him back because the company did not recognize his sickness and provide the proper care... It was the employers fault... So instead of a long battle, the company paid to put a new pecker on the guy... he is now short one toe BTW. I guess he can change his mind 9 more times and it will get progressively smaller.

Point is... he had a mental issue... he was wired "different"... and it was very disruptive to the employer.. My opinion is the dude should have been fired. He could go live with his dickless, wingless, and any other body part removed friends

My 2 cents.

You never took logic in school, I must assume. Read your statement and the inference, then my response again. You wrote:

"I tend to think that an animal having a homosexual encounter is probably not smart enough to recognize that is what he is doing. That is presumeably not the case with humans."

Now go back and read my response, and the logical conclusion.

Well, I did at least learn that a double-negative produces a positive. But since you seem to be having trouble with it, I'll simplify it for you:

animal = not smart enough to recognize what he is doing
human = smart enough to recognize what he is doing

smart = NOT dumb (that's binary logic as I'm sure you are aware)

Actually a great q...

how many guys here dont like two women kissing? Ok for women on women at all? What about bisexual women? How many here have had a 3 some with 2 women and yourself? Was that "abnormal"?

Where is your "normal vs. abnormal" line?

I could get deep into sexuality with ya'll, being something I have somewhat studied and, well, immensely enjoy, but am sure it would go too far.

Where the heck is anyone on here who finds homosexuality fine and normal? No one? Im alone?

I posted a poll on another board I am on. Ill let ya know the results.
How many here have had a 3 some with 2 women and yourself? Was that "abnormal"? Who told you? You know someone I know? Look, I confess. I really didn't feel abnormal but I thought they were for suggesting it(sisters). Talk about 15minutes of glory, yoeweee, but I was studying sexuality, research you know. Now where were we...oh ya, don't need no kinky, pervy stuff in this country, it ain't right I tell ya.

Ok, I'll take a shot at addressing these questions:

Firstly, Bisexuals are Homosexuals. Period. Having a heterosexual encounter does not make your homosexual encounter "normal".

Secondly, What does a threesome necessarily have to do with homosexuality? Why can't both women be having sex with the same guy? Why the assumption?

Are 3 somes wrong??....geeeez....I wish someone would have told me...now I'm feeling abnormal

ummm, Bill, I know you're from the South....but it's SouthWEST CONNECTICUT.....what's with the y'all??

The Rick Astley thing is a joke. A friend had that avatar, and thought it was funny.

I have done enough research to have a decent core of knowledge. The rest is, of course, opinion.

I dont disagree with much you said, believe it or not. However, things like transgender operations and the resulting (and most likely pre-exisiting) psychological patterns have nothing to do with homosexuality.

For some reason, all of these people get lumped together under a single sexual umbrella.

And truly, there are going to be trouble makers regardless of any sexual orientation. Look at octo-mom.

Bill, Seems to me you lost this debate about 3 pages ago. Its probably best to move on.

I dont really believe there is winning or losing. It's a discussion, not a debate class.

According to the poll on the other website, if you want to keep score, I am winning anyway

You stated animals are dumb enough to have homosexual sex
Humans are not dumb enough to have homosexual sex
Some humans have homosexual sex
Some human are therefore dumb
