My buddy just got one of these. He says it makes awesome ice balls, some crystal clear. I'm thinking of getting one of these novelties. It's made in Osceola WI.

At $399 I believe I would rather put at good wikey and still use my Kenmore
Elite cubed ice.

It's only money. You can't take it with you.

I believe this was the first guy making these in the USA. I use to call on his machine shop here in IL where he was making them.

Cheapskate that I am, I’m pretty happy with the large cube ice cube trays I picked up for a few bucks on Amazon. They make some pretty nice round 2” cubes. I’ve even got a couple that make square ones.

These are what you want.

dosent ice ruin the flavor, not to mention its hard getting them in the bottle.

I’m typically a Tangueray and Tonic guy. Regular cubes are great for that!
But when I want a sipping whiskey my choice is Jack Daniels Single Barrel and the 2” cubes are the way to go for that.
They don’t melt down before I finish the drink so no watered down taste.

I've found that the large 2" or larger cubes don't melt as quickly. I tend to like a little ice melt, although if I'm drinking a Johnny Walker Blue or some good Highland Scotch, I'll drink it neat.

As the self proclaimed resident CSR Cheapskate, I'd much rather use regular ol' ice cubes and spend that money on upgrading the level of booze I'm drinking.

I'm with JVM225--I'm a Tanqueray and Tonic kind of guy but I do like a really good tequila and I drink it neat.

I used to drink jonny black no ice, havent touched that stuff in 26 years.Today i own everything i have though.
