I am sure this has been beat to death but which brand and type of oil are you guys using?

Also on the Cummins QSM11 don’t follow the factory dipstick hatch marks on the dipstick to determine how much oil. I did that last oil change and I ended up putting in too much oil, 10gal each motor. I was getting fluctuating oil pressure due to too much oil in the pan getting frothed up by the crankshaft.
The correct amount of oil is 8gal plus the filter filled with oil when you put it on. After filling the motor with 8gal make a mark with a screw drive on the dipstick at the level of the oil. This is your full mark. On my engines this is only oil about 1/2” of oil from the end of the dipstick.
