Which Navionics type App do I want for my ipad3 for mapping and plotting?

I am looking at the Marine&Lakes: USA HD at $49.99. Is this the best app for the Great Lakes and inland lakes?

The older posts refer to $20 not $50.

Yes, marine & lakes is the best option for you. The other option is for coastal maps. They changed the app last year and made it a new version vs. updating the previous version and they raised the price as well.

After reading your question I had to go check the app out. I gotta say thank you! I loaded the east coast area on my ipad2. Best $50 I've spent.
