Hi All

I have a 2008 185 Sport 4.3 V6 and want to put some smart tabs on over the winter.

This hopefully help out with trips in slight chop in the coast areas and also to get on plane quick for wakeboarding.

I have checked the website and it suggests the:

Natuicus Smart Tabs - SX9510 - 60 and I have found a few sellers in the UK.

On their sites they say that this 60 pressue is for boats 15'-18' with up to 150Bhp!

Is there anyone with the same boat and smart tabs and can tell me which ones they used?

Also thinking about getting the PR500 bracket to allow the tabs to be "turned off" or move out of the way in case they compromise the wake.

Thanks

i can't tell you exactly for your boat (call them, they are very helpful), but for my 18' CC with a 115 (total weight is approx 2200lbs, I originally had the 60lb. I found that I was 'plowing' through the water once on plane. i also lost a few MPH top end. I called them, and they had me swap for the 40's, and I had much better results.

Hi

Being located in the UK calling them is a bit of a pain. I believe the specs for my boat are:

19' 8" Length
2600lbs or 1179kg Weight
bhp = 190

So using their selector is does say use the "60" actuators although in descriptions on websites selling them they would suggest 80's are the correct ones.

I called them for advice before ordering, and they suggested the 80's. My 190 has the same hull as your 185. No regrets, but drilling into the transom was a bit nerve wracking.
