Where's the switch for the engine room lights on a '99 290DA?

Three engine room lights, look to be 12V, and I can't find the switch anywhere! Looked off and on all summer! Can't trace the wires - they're running in wire loom. Couldn't find any info in the manuals. Where's the switch located?

when you turn on the cockpit lights?

its turned on by one of the rocker switches at the helm. i cant recollect exactly whether its on its own switch but i think so.

Mine says "bilge lights" at the helm switch panel.

Y Knot is right. Switch is at the helm, left of the steering wheel, next to the bilge pump switch.

Thanks folks! I definitely don't have a "bilge lights", but maybe I'll try "cockpit lights" - never thought of that one! KP
