Where is Scooter Wayne?

Any thoughts/issues on using a portable generator on my swim platform?

Frick your generator, we have had our night, I have dropped all the guys off that had to go home, I am now lying in bed with nothing but a sheet over me, I have had a swim. Also several, glenfiddichs, drambuies, and contrieaus, we have eggs and bacon and coffee ready for the morning.

I guess it's cold somewhere

Oh, and I prefer Chivas to Johnny Walker

and let me tell you BritLady makes some excellent food! You don't know what you're missing. What YC are you part of in Bradenton/Sarasota?

Thanks Perry:) We belong to Bradenton as we had a lot of their Ex-Commodores as patients from our office in town.

I must say Shaun, you have become quite the ambassador for the State of Florida. Next you'll be using words like paradise and gorgeous.

That is so true, Ambassador Shaun has a nice ring to it. I really enjoyed looking at the reef pics he took.
Truck: Ford-Diesel; gas generator on the swim platform; Coke or Dr. Pepper; paper bag not the plastic; Sugar Pops; heat is running not the a/c and what is pork pie?

I prefer the "Lucky Ambassador". ;) .....and I'm curious about the pork pie as we'll.

Pork pie - Ground pork inside a pastry shell.

I have not and probably would not eat it, but I've heard more than I care too about it.

It's actually excellent! If one eats pork it's no different to that. It's not actually ground pork at all, it's smallish pieces that are cooked and encased in a very shortcrust type of pastry shell which is then filled up with gelatine and pork gravy flavor which sets around the pork inside the case. The top is then put on so that the pork is fully encased with pastry and a fancy cut out of pastry will be added for decoration (some butchers have their own decoration trademark). They are actually very good, so much so that in the UK local butchers (who make and retail them) have competitions to see who's "secret receipe" is the best. Eaten cold with mustard, salad and fresh bread they are superb.
