To further this a bit more, can any of you imagine a smart young representative making it to speaker, only to retire because he couldn't stomach his loss of power and the Trump America first agenda. He was freaking third in line to the Presidency and quit!

BTW, this is my proof republicans were lying all those years they kept promising what is now called the Trump agenda...

On the flip side, there was a noose hung in Bubba Wallaces garage at the NASCAR race. I hope they catch who did it and ban them from NASCAR for life. I don't like this protesting and rioting but I'm about as fair as anyone you will find and the noose is unacceptable!

There are a lot of people in the south that take the confederate flag seriously....bubba led the effort to ban it. There will always be someone that can get to a garage.
Again ....it must suck to be triggered by a flag. I saw it this weekend with Trump flags...
I am not saying a noose is acceptable it’s down right disgusting.... but you are not going to change everyone’s thinking by banning something..or tearing down a statue....it will take time....racism isn’t a switch

I hope they find the guy and use that noose for a teachable moment. A horse and a sturdy branch and they will have that hick crying for his Momma! They will see just what a tough guy he is. I have no problem with people standing up and making a logical and cohesive argument against banning a flag but leaving a threatening message or symbol anonymously is just plain cowardly.

That is a possibility and if they find he did do it then he should be banned for life and it would be even more heinous than if somebody else did it.

From the report I saw drivers were not even permitted in this area, though I find that hard to believe. NASCARs Marty Snider reported only team members, track safety crew, security, NASCAR officials, and media were allowed in there. But that is just about everyone at the track in these 'no-fan' times. I just hope they find out who did it and set an example.

And if he did, my previous suggestion applies even more. No matter what its gonna be a shit show. If NASCAR doesn't find the perpetrator they will be called racists for not going far enough in the investigation. Perhaps they should burn the garage so it wont be a reminder of this horrific episode. That seems to be the only thing to do these days to correct transgressions.

Doesn't that fall into the 1st Amendment Right to express one's opinion? We can riot, burn, shoot, pull down statues, graffiti Washington monuments, occupy porton of a city, loot, but god help you if you loop a rope in a rich black race car drivers garage.

I may not agree w the gesture nor what it signals, but how does this elevate to this level while we let the country burn all around us?

good point. i think the whole race thing is a bit ridiculous. Seems most racial slurs and comments come from the blacks. I don't care what color you are. I have had some very good black friends. I used to own a bar and one of my best employees was a black girl (probably was my best one...lol). Maybe it's just where I live or something but I haven't witnessed much racism in my life. Sure there are comments here and there but nothing I would consider hate. I don't use the N word and don't like hearing others use it either. To me it is more about environmental influences than race. I said before my town is about 90% white and we see the same type of thug behavior from the whites. The common denominator is their upbringing
