When do u splash?

The channel markers here at MacRay have been out for amost a month now. I would of told BM that you couldn't leave until safe conditions (the channel marked). I don't see too many boats in there now, seems they would be reasonable and let you just tie up somewhere a little longer.

We are inside heated- in-the-water this year, but it still hasn't looked nice enough to venture out to our summer slip (which is located about 73 feet off your stern  ).

I like to pull out to the large docks to finish some of the areas I still need to polish, but will wait for nicer weather.

Welcome to Spring.

Yesterday!

Wasn't real warm for the ride from Leamington to our marina in LaSalle but the water was smooth and bouttime performed perfectly. We are the 5th boat in our marina.

Not great cruising weather yet but we can always go for a ride on the river and are planning to take our 6 year old out fishing.

Nice to be in.

Jeff

Went in yesterday as well. 3rd boat in. Sea trialed at 10am, she ran flawlessly (except for a dead genny battery, which they quickly replaced)

What a gorgeous day. 65 and sunny, water was pristine glass. Got to the new marina at 2pm. Took the family out at 3pm, nice dinner on the hook, and then came back dropped the kids off with the babysitter and did a little sunset cruise with the admiral

You guys are killing me- Last week Snow, Today 75 and first chance we have had to get wax on the hull. Tomorrow near 80. Its looks like late next week before we go in.

We are in!
Ran across the lower half of Lake Michigan from Calumet Harbor to Portage IN
Flat seas, little breeze, lots of sun and a cold beer.
Can it get any better than that?
I think not.

Splashed yesterday, 72 degrees beautiful. Earliest I have ever been in.

Went in on Saturday - A bit chillier than Sunday, but still very nice. Sunday was a beautiful day to spend working on the boat, maybe next weekend can be a repeat

I'm usually in for two weeks by now, this is late! You'll get in another MONTH if you go in two weeks early and come out two weeks late

Go Pistons
Go Wings
Go Tigers
Go Lewis Hamilton
What a wonderful time of year :smt001 :smt001 :smt001 :smt001 :smt001

You hit it on the nose!!! With the pistons, tigers and wings all in action plus the boat in the water. I am in heaven for awhile now! My favorite thing to do is smoke a stogie have a beer and listen to the tigers on the back of the 340!

Replace that beer with a glass of Glenfittich, and it doesn't get any better. Hell, the beer would work just fine, too. I'll let you know this weekend which one works better

(Lewis Hamilton is a Formula One rookie driver from England that is kicking butt right now... In case you wondered ) )
