What's this? A 650 Fly possibly? A spotting of an elusive vessel!

I was looking at the pic of the bottles lined up at the bar and started jonesing for a Sailor Jerry and root beer.

Any idea when the departure out of Savannah will occur? Standing by in Beaufort/Port Royal to give them the Sea Ray salute.

Bill,

We're waiting for your Rusty sighting pictures. We want to see you doing doughnuts around the 650.

Look who showed up in my inbox this morning!!!!!

Handsome devil! I'd be grinning too if I were driving a million + dollar yacht around with my bosses American Express card!!!!!

Be safe Rusty. It's been snotty around VA recently.

I love Charleston, stayed at that marina for a whole winter. You can take a "Southern Cooking Class" in town.

The "L" playing on a public course!!?? LOL!

Even though it has a L on the side, still have to fuel up and pump out.

Ok. Looks like he took offshore rather than the ICW. So I missed him on Beaufort. But it happens I have to pick up my wife at Charleston airport at 7:00. So I left early and I am at Charleston City Marina as I type this. Now to try to find the boat. I will not give up!

I enjoyed about an hour and a half on board hosted by Rusty and his first mate. Its just the two of them making this journey. They both did a great job tolerating me as I acted like a little kid in a candy store. Its absolutely beautiful inside and out and as some incredible features. I think my favorite is the twin gyros which kept the boat rock solid stable even though the wind was howling and boat wake was constantly hitting us. I felt I was in a hotel room, not on water. I am very grateful for their hospitality and generosity. Here are a few pictures.

The bathroom is literally a beautiful bathroom, not just a "head":

Thanks Captain Carter and the rest of you guys. Was great having Bill onboard for a short visit and hope to see more of you along the way. Will be departing here Monday and headed to Wrightsville Beach NC.

Wish I could share more. I will do my best to share locations so we can meet if able.

Rusty

Thanks again ZZ13, it was my honor to shake your hand !

Marine Max Wrightsville Beach is great. Jay, in service helped me out. If you're able to get a ride to Cassey's BBQ, I recommend it if you're into southern style food. I suggest the pigs feet and the fried chicken.... mmmmm

I like the idea of a photo contest Mike, and I may even find a hat for the winner. I will make it known from here out where the 650FLY is and where we are headed next !

Having a flotilla around me and this beauty is all kind of exciting!

Go Sea Ray !!

Capt. R

Those side decks look really high off the water line.... If you fell off that thing and hit the dock, you would probably break your arms.... No thanks.

Sweetness topped with peaches and cream. I wonder how much trouble I would get into if I dropped a big flag off the brooklyn bridge that said "Rusty on the fly"
