What's this? A 650 Fly possibly? A spotting of an elusive vessel!

>10% reserve. Sounds about right! Marshall's gonna roll out the Black Card. Marshall, if you're a BOAT/US member Kammerman's will take off 10cents per gallon. With that $80 savings you and the Cap'n can hit the bar for some E-70.

Good morning from Liberty Landing Marina....waking up to the skyline of Manhattan is not something a beach kid from Florida see's every day, wow!

Casey, good to hear from you and yes, this is the PD&E model of the FLY and I can assure you the engineers will make many assessments when I return. I will say that she has run just about flawlessly for me so I can't imagine too many modifications needed. The boat will eventually find its way to one of our dealers for retail sale.

Marshall, I certainly do appreciate you wanting to top off my tanks (1000 gallons) but will let you off with topping of me instead. I have had two potential buyers riding with me who both took me well below the quarter tank level and Yes, my mind starts calculating every second we kept going. I should have made the deal that if it runs out while you’re onboard, you buy it! Both of those customers can outdrive me so I wasn't too worried, or so they couldn't tell!

Enjoying the trip and looking forward to a great time as I head south. Look for the 650, you can't mistake her for anything else when she comes along side !

It was great seeing you guys in newport - wish you could have stayed longer - hope to see you again soon on your turf...

Rusty,

I'm not sure where you're planning to fuel up between Huntington and AC, but just a word of caution, don't try to fuel up in Brielle at late hours. Last time I made an arrangement with Hoffman's Marine, they told me that they're open until 8pm. I showed up at 6:30pm and the fuel dock was shut and the off-hours phone # posted on the building was useless. So, I guess LLM would be your best bet as their prices are better than NY side and there's 24/7 pump with high turn over.

NOTICE…..

As part of the incredible tour activities that have transpired the past month and a half, I have even more to offer.
I am tied up at Liberty Landing Marina in NJ overlooking the unbelievable skyline of NYC. This Friday the 4th and in conjunction with some great partners, Folds of Honor, Liberty Patriot Boating Days and Budweiser, there will be an event here that will also include the beautiful 650FLY, a 580 & 540 Sundancer.

This is expected to be a great event and will conclude in time for you to see the fireworks off the shore of New Jersey with the Manhattan Skyline as a backdrop.

Want to come see us? PM me an email address or contact me tomorrow or as soon as possible and I will forward you the credentials needed to enter Liberty Park. The event is from 12 noon until 8pm at which time since you are in the park, you may want to stroll to the shoreline for the show.

First come first serve as it will fill up fast so come early and enjoy the day. I am a veteran so this is an honor for me to participate and naturally, Sea Ray leads the way !

I am out of my turf and out of my league here...watched lighting hit the Freedom Tower repeatedly during the night. Pretty cool but wow, we just don't see such things in Cape Canaveral FL.

Still looking for things to clear up and storm moving away for a super 4th of July event here at Liberty Landing. Hope we cross courses soon!

if you plan on doing any sightseeing or need supplies, I would do it today. tomorrow you're not going to be able to get in or out of that marina or park (think hundreds of thousands people pouring into the park). If you're feeling a bit of cabin fever, you can always do a walking tour through the historic jersey city.

I am going to try and get down there tonight, and see Rusty and the 650. A steakhouse in Hoboken sounds real nice........

If you walk real fast, the bullets hardly touch you.

Rusty is going to have a GREAT view of the fireworks on the bridge. T-Head at the front of the marina.... can't ask for better. He must have some pull at the marina for that spot.

I think it was Arthur's tavern....

historic or hysteric ?? Jersey City is best visited fully armed and loaded. It makes Beirut look tame.

This Ain't Pensyltuky Frank only the Bad Guy's are alllowed to carry in Jersey

Too bad the Fireworks will be on the East River, but it should be a good show regardless!

It's a good thing it's on the east river, all the nut jobs will be on the other side of town.

It doesn't look like we can make it tonight. We had intended to pick up my father in law to see the 650, but it's just too hot tonight, and he can't leave the house under these conditions - he's well into his 80s. So, we are going to visit for a while, then head home.

Rusty, we'll catch up next time.

Dale

That's probably a smart move Dale, all the Beney's are coming down the shore for the weekend. The traffic will be Nutz!!

Yeah Dale, all the people flocking to the Jersey City Shore will certainly make your trip to Jersey City tough (LOL!)
