What's this? A 650 Fly possibly? A spotting of an elusive vessel!

Someone emailed me a pic of Rusty at the helm.

Speaking of the 650, has anyone seen it lately?

I believe it's in Boston at Russo's with the "the most interesting man alive"

Russo's marine is a Joke!!! Stay away from that place... Epically the Svc yard... SeaRay should take there franchise away... What a bunch of scum...

Boston is way cool !!

Had an event party last night parked behind a gorgeous home in Cohasset MA. Have now docked the 650 at Water Boat Marina in downtown Boston and am excited to take in a walk around town viewing history upon history.

Will be here until around 11am tomorrow morning when I will cast off the lines and begin my journey back south with the next destination being Liberty Landing for the 4th of July. We will be at Liberty Landing Marina until the morning of the 9th in which I am headed back to The Prime restaurant in Huntington on Long Island NY. Will be in Huntington until the morning of the 10th at which point I will point the bow south, headed for home.

Will have many stops along that route and hope to see you all. I have no engagements planned for the south course and will be staying at your local marinas from there on out. With no commitments scheduled, the 650 will be posting the entire trip south for everyone to know exactly where she is.

This has been an experince beyond my expectations and we have been overwhelmed with the response the 650FLY has received along the way, the boat is all of that and then some!.....but I miss my Babe and will be excited to see her soon (Babe is a beautiful yellow Lab and my best friend!)

The trip is not over and my desire to meet you along the way has me more excited with each stop....please find me!

Thanks everyone !!

Capt. Rusty

Rusty,
If you have some spare time today go for a duck boat tour. It sounds silly but it is a lot of fun and gives you some really good info on our old city.

Rusty and I talk frequently and more times than not, if it is on one of his days off, a Friday or Saturday, I catch him 2 miles off shore in his Laguna fishing.

Ahhhh, to be on my Laguna right now off Cape Canaveral FLA......

I am tied up at Liberty Landing Marina in NJ and will be here until the 4th of July. After the 4th I return to Huntington Long Island for an event at the Prime restaurant and the morning after I am headed south.

Got a feeling I will be in need of fuel around Atlantic City and then continue down the coast until I reach home.

If you're around this big city I am on the t-head at Liberty Marina and would enjoy showing you this unreal machine.

Hope to see you!

Why would we want to see you while on the head??????? A bit too friendly IMHO...

BTW, nice write up on this fine vessel in the current issue of SRL magazine. Nicely photoshopped with snow-capped mountains (bad QC since it doesn't have the "L" yet and the model plaque is aft of the actual location). Not a bad article about a certain cruise we do out West too!

Capt. Rusty / Frank W. -

Not that I will be in the market for 650 Fly anytime in the near future, but what will become of the actual vessel you are captaining once it gets back to its home port? Is it an R & D vessel that will be gone over stem to stern by Sea Ray to see how she performed, etc? Taken apart? Inspected? Rebuilt? Or will it go on to the market as slightly used?

Safe travels as you head south.

Rusty,
Keep an eye on that weather! If you need to duck out of the Ocean on your return trip, that head-turner of yours would be welcome here on the beautiful Sassafras River. :)

If I'm reading that right, Marshall is offering to pay for your fuel-up if you stop at AC. That would make the Prez very happy. Hmmmm...figure about 850 gallons at, what, $4/gallon? Yeah, a very happy Tim Schiek. Marshall, you are a helluva guy!

I hear that 883 gallons in one fill up is the standing record. Others were close, but running on fumes makes a good captain nervous.
