Whats the best davit system?

First question I would ask is how are you going to be using the dinghy? That is a major consideration on size of dinghy, engine and type of davits to get IMO. I’ve tried several different setups and finally realized getting a set up that suited my use case made all the difference.

I love my Nick Jackson. It’s over kill for a small dink but if you ever upgrade to a center console you’ll need the capacity
 
I started this thread almost 2 years ago, and yesterday I installed the Hurley H30 system to replace my Nautley. The admiral saw the H30 last summer in Lexington, and said, "LOOK AT THAT!!" She is small and together we just could not always get my 10' RIB and 6 hp Merc up so I went to the H3O so I can get the dink up and down my self. I know we'll use it a lot more now. So now I have a set of Nautleys for sale. Make me an offer.
 
Hi!! I was researching davits and saw your recent post about your Nautley davits. If still available, are you able to tell me the "model" of your davits...XL or HD extended? I believe I need the extended roll-on for the inflated bottom. Thanks.
 
Forgive me but I don't know whether "Extended HD+ roll-on" is the same as the HD+ roll-on in the description you provided.

I can call Nautley tomorrow. In the interim....how much were you looking to recover? Thx
