WTF was Sea Ray thinking? This pic is from a 99 330DA. The cabin is full of this color & either I am color blind & it looks wonderful OR I want to buy the boat just to get this color out of what is otherwise a really nice boat.

ok..my rant is over. Since I can afford the boat but not the interior overhaul, I will move on.

It looks like it should have been used in the mid '70s. I think my Grandmother had that pattern on her couch back then.

My '98 model 290DA had that same color scheme, I think. I thought it was a bit too overwhelming at first, but after a while it was no big deal. There are things you can do to tone it down a bit. After we owned the boat a while, most comments were positive. Don't make it a deal killer if you like the boat otherwise.

Traveled 2 hrs. once to see a DB of same era. Pics looked like it was brown on tan, so we thought nothing of it. Got there and it was maroon on pink! After 2 mins on board almost puked and left the broker standing there with his jaw down around his knees.

I am looking at 94-99 270s and ask that question all the time. It seems the boating and rv industries did get better in interior design in the 2000s. But then I remember those plaid pants from the 70s-80s and wonder if that was along the same line of “what they were thinking”

I hear you! We actually are steering clear of those model years boats with the BAD interior design in our upgrade search . When we bought our '95 bowrider, it had the ugly teal coloring which seems to be in every Sea Ray model around the period. Replaced it all with Navy blue within two months of owning it.
