What Size/Style Bilge Shop Vac ? ? ?

    I use a 5 gallon bucket that has a detachable vacuum on top, with clips.

    I have a bunch of these for the cars…leave one in the boat box…..they are small enough but capacity is low so I take a bucket to dump it …. I use it maybe twice a year when I clean the bildge ….couldn’t imagine anything bigger in the cramped space

    I have always carried a 5-gallon bucket in my E.R. so when you guys showed me the bucket head I bought it and have used it this past week when I degreased my E.R.

    The explosion thread made me think of this, maybe it was mentioned back a few threads, but please be sure there are no gas fumes present when running any vacuum in the bilge. That will light up the fumes rather quickly

    common sense I know but worth mentioning…
