What Size/Style Bilge Shop Vac ? ? ?

I use a 5 gallon bucket that has a detachable vacuum on top, with clips.

I use a smaller 3 gallon Rigid. Keep it in the bilge. Fairly compact.

It's killer! As often as I find myself pulling wheels (four on the fifth-wheel, six on the boat trailer), it sure comes in handy.

I have a bunch of these for the cars…leave one in the boat box…..they are small enough but capacity is low so I take a bucket to dump it …. I use it maybe twice a year when I clean the bildge ….couldn’t imagine anything bigger in the cramped space

The explosion thread made me think of this, maybe it was mentioned back a few threads, but please be sure there are no gas fumes present when running any vacuum in the bilge. That will light up the fumes rather quickly

common sense I know but worth mentioning…
