I need to reseal my windshield do to a small leak.
What sealant / adhesive does Sea Ray use at the factory, Whatever is in there now is very soft.
What is the best sealant to use on a cockpit windshield.
I tried 3M 4000 UV on my old boat and was not happy with the results after a few years.
I want something that will last in the sun.

I use Seal Bond 105 for all of my above water line applications. We're located close by the Tiara factory here, and I learned several years ago this is what they use and I've been very pleased with it.

Sikaflex 295 UV
I redid my cockpit windshield at the beginning of this season. Came out perfect

Sea Ray customer service told me this is what they used.

I've had excellent results with Boat Life Life Seal over the years. Their Life Caulk is even better... but it's messy. It's one of those things where you wonder how in the heck some of the caulk got on that part of your hand or leg... kinda like it magically just appears in certain places. But great stuff.

I have that problem with anti seize. I use it on everything I have to remove on a schedule and it ends up on everything. Put a little dab on a plug and install. Wipe everything clean without touching anything. Then have silver or copper all over the place when I'm done. It ranks up there with the missing sock in the laundry.

Socks never go missing, they just transform into Tupperware lids that don't fit anything you have.
