I have grown up with Sea Ray boats. My grandpa purchased his first back in 1980 (when I was 2 lol) it was a 79 300 Weekender and I remember we use to sleep on it every weekend and I would sleep on the top bunk. The engines starting early in the morning to go fishing on Lake Erie was my alarm clock but I would stay on the bunk and watch the waves from the bow window until we reached our first fishing spot. so this boat will hold a special place in my heart. Then after my grandpa passed my dad bought a 88 250 cc and i was not impressed but a lot of that was because I missed the 300. Then I was able to talk my dad into the 91 280 Weekender and I loved that boat. It was the first Boat I was allowed to drive lol. I remember it being a tank. Now as i got older we traded it on a 340 AJ and that boat was my baby. I took that boat on many trips and I just loved how it handles the Lake Erie water. Then we got the 07 44 Dancer and it was our first diesel boat and It is amazing. We have taken it on many many long trips and it has performed beyond our expectations. I handles the rough waters of like Erie like no other, the best example I can think of right now is a trip we took to Windsor Canada from Catawba in 10 Ft waves ( yeah that was my fault, everyone said it was to rough to go but I was convinced it would calm down, yeah it didn't lol) I paid for it however as my arms where sore from being on and off the throttles for 2 hrs but I have never had so much fun on a boat trip in my life as that trip in those waves, the boat handled them like a dream, very few times do I remember water ever going over the bow which amazed me with those size waves.
I just absolutely love Sea Ray and I hope to continue owning them. Lets here about some of your boats and the stories that go along with them.
