My wife and friends think I may have issues - We haven't had the best weather until recently so not that many boats have been on the water - but people keep telling me how good the boat looks and all I can think about is how I want to put another coat of wax on it.

The dog in the dinghy:

The dinghy looks pretty dull...I don't think one coat is going to do it.

I agree - do you think the Porter Cable will get it to shine?

I think he needs a Makita rotary buffer on high with the heaviest compound possible! It's gonna take a while to buff the dinghy!

I was thinking the same thing... that's real dull.:wow:

I can't believe that you would be seen in public with this thing? Looks like you only 2 coats of polish on that thing -- sheesh!

Oh yeah, that's a nice looking wax. I love that reflection on the water. My boat could definately do with a little bit of that. What photoshop package are you using?

I do own a marketing company - so I have designers on staff that can photoshop things - it's cheaper than paying someone to wax!

In the spirit of fun here - I am thinking of converting the dinghy to Diesel - Cat Motors - Thoughts?

With all the talk of buffing, waxing, and dinghy, your only choice would be Cummins power, not Cat...

Well if it ever stops raining here in the PNW, I might be able to get the buffer out and plug it in......

I know I am already gripping about the rain. I must say it is better that 100f with 100% humidity!!

I understand the whole need to upgrate to a Diesel on the Dink but, am more interested on your choice of generator make and model for her. As well you could run some sweet Kalenburg horns although. single use in this application by jambing the bottom intake pipe into the side wall of the dink!

Skolbe, Please delete that pic !!, You making the rest of us look bad. :smt043 . :smt043

Wow I wished mine looked like that. . .

But I can still boat in 100f/100%!

A bit harder in the rain . .
