I know that many of you here on CSR live in an area that has been absolutely battered by storms this winter. I do feel for you and want to offer a temporary solution.

Kick back with the big screen Hi Def TV and tune to the AT&T Pebble Beach golf tournament. This is about a 1 1/2 hour drive down the coast from here and should provide some beautiful scenery! Just picture yourself in your beautiful boats in the Pacific just off of the 7th hole at Pebble Beach Golf Links, one of the most beautiful spots in the world.

Now, I don't know if you should shovel the driveway before or after as I have never had to do that... :smt009

Ahhh but you are missing out on lots of winter fun! Snowmobiling all over the place or running the quads in the snow, going to the local ponds and watching your kids skate and play and learn hockey, sledding down hills and drinking hot cocoa in the park's lean-to, outdoor bonfires, hopping over to a local ski place for snowboarding and skiing, indoor fireplaces and snuggling up near the wood burning stove to watch a movie, the beauty of walking in the neighborhood after a good snowfall, days off from work in blizzards, snowball fights and snowmen, so much more...

Ill never leave the northeast, ya'll can keep your monotonous weather, I prefer change of seasons and winter fun along with the summer following soon after.

3 hours to Lake Tahoe with all of the snow I could ever want and 1st class ski resorts (not to mention casinos). I would rather go to the snow instead of having it come to me!

I have to agree with 2K. I am done with the snow. I've lost 2 days here that I cant get get back. Sledding with the kids is fun but, I spend so much time clearing the driveway that I'm usually gassed!:smt013 The fall is ok, getting into football season but raking leaves I could do without. Spring rocks as does summer. Yep, 2K, for my money I'd rather be in a warmer climate. Someday I'll be a snowbird!

We have seasons change....Spring is when we take in the brown plastic plants and put out the green ones!

Never been a better time to buy a house in California. Lots of inventory and lowest prices in 20 years.
