Boat in Sant Carles, Spain. I live in Cheltenham,
Boat Info
Sundancer 460 2002
Volvo 480 HP
Raymarine Electronics
Avon 320DL RIB
Yamaha 25HP 4 Stroke
Engines
Volvo 74 TAMD EDC
I am looking at a possible replacement for my 400DA, and whilst looking at adverts for 460's, have noticed a piece of equipment in the engine room near the Generators, and would like to know what it is.

It has a label naming it as "C Power" on it, and obviously connects in line with the electrics. Is it optional? How much did it cost when new? What does it do?

Not all boats appear to have it, any advice appreciated.

Based on the size and shape it is most likely the ISO Boost transformer, but it's possible that it is just the isolation transformer without boost.

It is an isolation transformer I had to buy one because of the crappy 30 AMP at my marine. The marina kept tripping my breaker all the time.

You want that !!!!!! $500.00
