What is System Monitor checking

I have a 2003 Sea Ray 480 MY with QSM-11 and ZF 325-1A transmissions. Does the Systems Monitor check any ZF transmission parameters like oil temp or pressure?

I have a 2003 Sea Ray 480 MY with QSM-11 and ZF 325-1A transmissions. Does the Systems Monitor check any ZF transmission parameters like oil temp or pressure?

It reads temp on trany. I replaced a tranny last year. Moments before failure the systems monitor alarm went off.

You can test this by pulling the wire off the temp sensor on your tranny. Two wires lead to it. The alarm should sing.
